    “Before starting with Carla in Speech Symphony, Ted was a very quiet and sensitive child. I wasn't sure if he would even attend the classes, and I didn't even consider that he would do the Speech and Drama examinations when the amazing opportunity arose. However, as Ted progressed through each class, I saw a confidence grow in him that was uplifting. He was so much more confident in himself, began contributing constructively to any conversation he was a part of, and offered valid opinions at all times. As his confidence grew, so did his smile, and he took great pride in rehearsing his poems each week.

    On the morning of the exam, I was more nervous than he was and my heart was filled with pride as I watched him stride into that examination hall with his folder of prepared work under his arm on his very own to meet Ms Binley. The icing on the cake was when Ted walked out of that exam hall with a smile from ear to ear, stating, "I want to do it all again!" My once quiet, shy and sometimes withdrawn boy had just aced his first Speech and Drama exam and was on top of the world about doing so. As parents, we couldn't have been prouder of what he had achieved in a few short months with Speech Symphony.
